How to appeal a public ban listing

Updated Unknown

Why was I listed on the public ban list?

You have been listed on the public ban list for serious rule breaking conduct.
If you believe that your ban should not be listed on the site (anymore), you may be eligible to appeal for it's removal. You may view a list of eligible ban reasons in this article.

How to appeal

Depending on why you're appealing the listing, you may need to contact either us or the Origin Community. Appeal procedures in the Origin Community may vary from ours.

Contact us if...

  • Your ban listing shows up as permanent, but you were temporarily banned from the Origin Community and have waited out the ban duration.
  • Your ban listing displays a reason that is not eligible per this article.
  • You attempted to contact the Origin Community about your ban listing, and received no response in a reasonable amount of time (72 hours).

Contact the Origin Community if...

  • You disagree with the listing in any way (reason, duration or anything else).
  • The Origin Community listed your ban incorrectly (for example, you were added for something that you didn't do).
Info

The moderation practices of other Origin Communities is up to that community. We will not get involved in their appeals process or mediate for you.
